Dr. Sandeep Kishore Singh is the Founder and Chairman of Mission Minimise. He is responsible for providing an overarching leadership to Mission Minimise and also responsible for designing the overall strategy and growth plans of the organization. Dr. Sandeep had the vision of an all developed Nation where every community of all class can become educated, skilled, self-dependent and provide a better ecosystem to all living beings.
In order to pursue this vision into success and also to give back to the society he has initiated to start MISSION MINIMISE and decided to uplift the life of needy people and desired to become the part of growth and success story of India. He wishes to provide the poor as well as the needy people, who are downtrodden and cannot really afford basic amenities, uplift their lifestyle and also fulfill their desired dreams.
Dr. Sandeep is PhD in Earth Science (Ground Water) and the topic is related to Environment and Disaster Management. He is having more than 20 years of experience with Govt. organizations, National Institute of Technology (NIT) Patna, National, International organisations like World Bank, European Union, GIZ-GOPA (Germany), UNICEF, JICA (Japan International Co-operation Agency) in the field of administration, project implementation, leadership, operation, strategic planning, fundraising, administration, business planning, training, capacity building, teaching, skill development, knowledge management, consultancy, institution building, research and development in the field of multi sectorial issues.
Dr. Sandeep is empanelled as National Trainer/Resource Person at NIDM (National Institute of Disaster Management), Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India. Source (Page No.– 97) Serial No. 41. He has also been Nominated as Resource Person/Expert for “East Asia Summit Earthquake Risk Reduction Centre” New Delhi, National Institute of Disaster Management, Ministry of Home Affaires, Govt. of India. Dr. Sandeep is presently associated with CSIR – National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-NEERI), Nagpur, Govt. of India as Chief Program Coordinator for Training and Certification Program on Environment, Disaster Management and Climate Change.
Recently, Dr. Sandeep has worked as Project Head – Fluoride Mitigation Project under Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Assisted Rajasthan Rural Water Supply Fluorosis Mitigation Project (Nagaur), Rajasthan, and implementing the project for 3 million (30 lakh) people on education, water pollution, health and nutritional aspects in community, school and hospital intervention. He has also worked as a Team Leader / National Advisor (Climate Change), GOPA Consultants & GIZ - Germany and WOTR - India (International NGOs) in CCKN-IA (Climate Change Knowledge Network in Indian Agriculture) project, including, is a consortium project initiated by Rainfed Authority of DAC under Ministry of Agriculture, GoI and implemented by GIZ (Deutsche Gessellshcaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbit), GmbH, India.
Earlier, he has worked as State Consultant (SOP – Community Based DRR) with UNICEF Bhopal and also
worked as Consultant World Bank FMIS Project with Govt. of Bihar. He was responsible for updating
Flood Manuals, Action Plans and Institutional Arrangement of Govt. of Bihar of Water Resource Department,
Agriculture Department and Disaster Management Department.
Dr. Sandeep has also worked as Senior Consultant at Administrative Training Institute, Bihar (BIPARD) and also worked as a Program Director - Disaster Management projects, Research Consultant European Union Project and he has also worked as Visiting Professor and Assistant Registrar (Academic) at National Institute of Technology Patna. He was one of the founder members of establishing the Center for Disaster Management at National Institute of Technology (NIT) Patna.
